UI/UX DESIGN

Case Studies

In my junior year at Berkeley, I took the Human-Centered Design DeCal. What surprised me most was discovering that UX goes far beyond mastering Figma or other design tools—it’s really about understanding the user’s perspective and needs, and then designing solutions that feel intuitive, useful, and engaging. That experience led me to realize that UX was the perfect way to combine my interests in storytelling, human behavior, and design. In my senior year, I joined UI/UX at Berkeley, a design consultancy club that works with real clients to deliver research-driven solutions.

Featured Work

Berkeley Student Food Collective

This was a semester-long UI/UX project in which we were tasked with redesigning and improving the Berkeley Student Food Collective’s website. Our goal was to make the site more easily navigable for users, volunteers, and vendors, while also making it more visually engaging and reflective of the organization’s mission and community impact. The result was a more intuitive, accessible, and user-centered experience.

I Ate

Berkeley Student Food Collective

This was the first UI/UX project I ever completed in my Human-Centered Design class. We were assigned to choose an existing app and reimagine it with a focus on creating a more natural and intuitive user experience. For my project, I re-envisioned BeReal as a food-centered app where users can share and see what their friends are eating in real time.
